It’s not just the name that’s changed on our elite-level bib shorts. We’ve incorporated feedback from the riders of CANYON//SRAM to improve our women’s WorldTour race-winning bib shorts. Made with a lightweight mesh, the highly breathable upper section has been reshaped with more fabric across the back to provide more support around the waist. The bib straps have been slimmed down into an anatomical shape with high-stretch panels over the shoulders to reduce bulk and create a stable fit for all riders of all heights. A subtle radio pocket is stitched in just above the waist. Below the waist, the short makes use of a new, high-stretch Lycra that is soft against the skin yet slightly compressive for an optimized, in-the-drops race fit. The new fabric also incorporates recycled materials, making it 20% less impactful than the fabric we used previously. Low-profile, super wide silicone leg grippers further improve stability while distributing pressure evenly across the leg to avoid pinching. A combination of record temperatures, drought, lightning, wind and arson have made these last months some of the most tragic in Australian history. According to the latest estimates, more than one million animals have been killed in fires that have burned 8 million hectares of natural habitat, an area the size of Austria that will take decades to recover. Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and possums are some of the continent’s iconic native species being lost to the flames, and some are even on the brink of extinction.
