AASQ Callout Reminder: Prologo is here to answer questions on saddles & winning the Tour de France

What a finish for the 2020 Tour de France! For a race that risked being completely overshadowed with the threat of coronavirus, the Tour delivered with incredible racing that didn’t see the overall winner decided until the mountain time trial of the second to last stage.

With that, Tadej Pogacar rode into Paris on a yellow Colnago – equipped with the Prologo Scratch M5 saddle. As an official partner of the UAE Team Emirates, Prologo supplied the saddles for the team, but the specific saddle choice is still up to the rider.

For Tadej, that choice resulted in the use of the Scratch M5. While the M5 is offered in their PAS (Perineal Area System), Tadej opted for the standard M5 which uses an open base, or Active Base System, which is a hollowed structure with a cover in the center of the saddle.

It also features their Multi Sector System, which breaks the saddle into five different ‘mapped’ zones with active foams meant to work together during the “pushing and pulling phases” of pedaling.
