And the Cache is a versatile gravel bike that comes in steel or titanium, and can be built as a flat bar hardtail or drop bar dirt road racer. Here’s the overview from their Remote Otter video submission!Advertisements

The Knolly Warden was introduced last summer, but is now fully available. We covered the launch and tech details, and gave it a first ride review at that time. Here’s the short version of what you need to know, check those posts for all the deets: It’s a long travel enduro mountain bike with 27.5″ wheels and their patented Fourby4 linkage system. Travel is 160/160, or bump up with the Warden LT to get 168mm travel rear paired with a 170mm fork.

Unique features include their Superboost 157mm rear axle spacing, but with chainstay designs that still provide decent heel clearance, and an offset seat tube that allows for 150mm travel dropper posts even on the small frame sizes. Large and XL frames fit a 200mm dropper. Frameset prices range from $2,270 to $2,673, and complete bikes start at $4,750 USD.

Also introduced last summer but just finally making it all the way out to riders everywhere is the steel version of the Knolly Cache drop bar bike. It’s a followup to 2018’s titanium model. We covered all the tech in the launch post, but here’s the short of it: The frame is made with custom shaped and butted air-hardened steel tubing. The seat tube is curved to add both tire clearance and compliance.

The chainstay yoke gets a custom machined part to clear a double chainring and big tires if you want, and all cabling is run externally for easy maintenance. It’s compatible with short travel gravel suspension forks, but comes with their custom lightweight carbon fork. Fender and rack mounts are standard, as are three water-bottle bosses. It fits 700×45 or 27.5×2.1″ tires.

Frameset price is $1,250 with their carbon fork, and complete bikes range from $2,899 to $3,799.

Bikes are available through dealers and online, and through Spring 2020, for every Warden they sell direct, they’ll donate $100 to the Vancouver Coastal Health hospital foundations to help support frontline workers during the COVID-19 outbreak.
